Urban Urtyp with bassmusic

The challenge was to transfer a bassmusic club gig into a church (with 3,8 sec natural reverb) without loosing the spirit of each of them.
The one-woman-performance of producer / singer / DJ Emika was set into a minimalistic yet efficient lighting concept utilizing the venues own architecture illumination and a few LED panels on stage.
Soundwise we went for L’Acoustics with 4 SB15m and a pair of Arcs Wide in the front, attended by a pair of X8 used as nearfill. Trading punch for sub-low you can say, as the resonating character of the room tends to blur the frequencies at the very bottom.
The highly acclaimed show ended with a very intimate piano improvisation to guide everyone home savely.
